Cooling is provided by two 100hp compressors with Ammonia based units providing approximately 225 tons of cooling. Seller states the capacity is approximately 80,000 - 100,000 styrofoam boxes at one time with a season total of 800,000 boxes depending on varieties and sales. The two pre-cooling rooms hold 56 pallets each and can pre-cool the fruit in six hours. Entire area is fenced and paved.

This facility is located on the northside of Avenue 56, 1/4 mile west of Road 184, six miles east of Earlimart and seven miles west of Ducor in Tulare County.

Comments

Upon purchase of this facility in 2006, the owner has completely rehabed the entire facility. Major improvements were all new coils, all new electrical throughout, new compressor motors, variable fans and coils in pre-coolers with new bunkers, new accumulators for the pre-cooler, all new doors into each room. A Teletroll computer system was also installed.
